Brown and Yale will meet for the second straight week in a key Ivy League match-up at the Pizzitola Sports Center, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Brown (8-7, 0-1 Ivy) and Yale (7-8, 1-0 Ivy) battled for 45 minutes last Saturday in New Haven, before the Bulldogs captured a 66-63 overtime decision over the Bears in the Ivy League opener for both teams. Seniors Damon Huffman and Mark McAndrew scored 15 points each for Brown, while Ross Morin netted a career high 24 points for the Elis.
Brown fans attending Saturday's game are encouraged to "White Out" this game by wearing white shirts, and the Bears will be signing autographs on the court at the conclusion of the contest. Tickets are available by calling (401) 863-2773.
Saturday's radio broadcast on WSKO-AM-790 The Score, with Scott Cordischi and Russ Tyler '71, will also be broadcast live on Sirius Satellite Radio.
Brown and Yale have met 140 times, dating back to the 1904-1905 season, with the Elis holding a 92-48 series advantage. The two teams split games last season, with Yale taking a 56-42 decision in Providence, and Brown coming back to grab a 76-71 decision in New Haven.
