Brown will complete its non-league schedule on Tuesday, January 8th against Baylor at the Ferrell Arena. Brown and Baylor will be meeting for the first time ever in the battle of the Bears. Located in Waco, Texas, the Baylor Bears compete in the Big 12 Conference.

Brown, winners of six of its last eight games, extended its record to 8-8 overall with a 68-55 win over American behind 29 points by senior Damon Huffman. Baylor (11-2) is coming off an 85-78 loss to Arkansas Saturday evening.

The Bears' eight non-league victories are the second most for a Brown team since the Ivy League began play in 1954-1955. Brown's 2001-2002 team (9 wins) is the only Bears' team to have earned more non-league victories than this year's squad.

Senior Damon Huffman was named the Ivy League Player of the Week after scoring 20 or more points in three games last week. He netted 21 points against Notre Dame, 23 points and the game winning basket with 1.7 seconds remaining against Army, and 29 points in Brown's win over American.

Tuesday's game against Baylor will be televised live on FSN-Southwest. Greg Lucas will call the play and Jim Haller will provide the color commentary.
