Brown Basketball Announces Its Class of 2018

Providence Journal:  Brown Adds Five Recruits

Providence, R.I. – Third-year Brown men's basketball coach Mike Martin has announced the Brown Basketball Class of 2018, a talented group with expectations of contributing immediately.  Joining the Brown team are 6-7 freshman forward Kyle Haber (Dubuque, IA), 6-8 freshman forward Miki Ljuboja (North Riverside, IL), 6-5 freshman guard Jason Massey (Cooper City, FL), 6-4 freshman guard Patrick Triplett (St. Louis, MO) and 6-1 freshman guard Tyler Williams (West Chester, OH).

"Our staff is anxious for the arrival of this recruiting class in the fall," said Martin.  "We feel as though the entire group brings good versatility, solid skill sets, and high basketball IQs, all of which are of tremendous value in our program.  The class should help solidify our depth at key positions and we are optimistic that there will be immediate contributors among the group."

Martin's first recruiting class, the Class of 2017, produced three starters and had three first-year players being named Ivy League Rookie of the Week a school record 10 times. Last year's Brown team posted a 15-14 overall record and hosted a first round game in the CollegeInsider.com Postseason Tournament.
