Harvard Holds Off Brown, 98-93, In Overtime
Brown had an opportunity to knock off Ivy league Champion Harvard Saturday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center in senior Sean McGonagill’s final collegiate regular season game. But the Crimson had other ideas, holding off the Bears for a thrilling 98-93 overtime win in the final regular season game for both teams. McGonagill scored 26 points to complete his storied Brown career with several Brown records. He is Brown’s all-time leader in career treys (247), career starts (113), single season treys (91).

Brown Falls To Dartmouth, 75-68
Tyler Melville scored 23 points and Connor Boehm added 22 points to lead Dartmouth to a 75-68 upset win over Brown in an Ivy League game at the Pizzitola Sports Center. The Bears were paced by freshman Leland King, who scored a team high 18 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, while also grabbing seven rebounds.

Brown Wraps-Up 2014 Regular Season vs. Dartmouth and Harvard
Brown (15-11, 7-5 Ivy) wraps up its 2013-14 regular season this Friday and Saturday, March 7 & 8, hosting Dartmouth and Harvard at the Pizzitola Sports Center. The basketball program is also honored to take part in Brown University's 250th Anniversary Celebration which officially kicks off this weekend. Seniors Sean McGonagill and Josh Biber will take part in Senior Day ceremonies prior to Saturday evening's game, and the top five scorers in Brown Basketball history - Earl Hunt '03, Arnie Berman '72, Jason Forte '05, Sean McGonagill '14 and Peter Sullivan '11 - will be honored at halftime of Saturday's game as part of the 250th Anniversary Celebration.

Brown Narrowly Falls To Providence, 73-69
Coach Mike Martin’s Brown men’s basketball team came into the Dunkin’ Donuts Center looking for its second straight upset of Providence College, and Bears’ junior All-Ivy guard Sean McGonagill (Brookfield, IL) nearly pulled it off. Trailing the Friars by five points with time running out, McGongill knocked down a trey with nine seconds remaining, stole the inbounds pass and had a good look at a trey that just fell off the front rim as Brown’s rally fell short in a 73-69 loss to Providence Wednesday evening.

Bears Head Downtown To Battle Providence
Fresh off a season opening win over Binghamton, the Brown men's basketball travels down College Hill to the Dunkin' Donuts Center for the 119th meeting with cross-town rival Providence on Wednesday, November 13. The Bears defeated the Friars on the Brown campus last year and both team come in to Wednesday's game without a loss. Tip-off is at 7pm, and the game will be televised on Fox Sports 2, with radio coverage on WPRV AM-790.

Brown Picked Fifth In Ivy League Preseason Men’s Basketball Media Poll
The Brown’s men’s basketball team, who finished fourth in the Ivy standings a year ago, will have some bulletin board material after being picked fifth in the 2013-14 Ivy League Preseason Poll. Defending Ivy League Champion Harvard was chosen first in the poll, receiving all 17 first place votes. Head coach Mike Martin’s squad features several significant returning players from last year’s 13-15, 7-7 Ivy team, as the Bears look to challenge for the Ivy title with a mix of experience and youth, including six newcomers.
