Brown senior guard Sean McGonagill (Brookfield, IL), Brown’s third all-time leading scorer with 1,608 career points, was named a second team All-District 13 selection.

    Harvard Holds Off Brown, 98-93, In Overtime Brown had an opportunity to knock off Ivy league Champion Harvard Saturday evening at the Pizzitola Sports Center in senior Sean McGonagill’s final collegiate regular season game. But the Crimson had other ideas, holding off the Bears for a thrilling 98-93 overtime win in the final regular season game for both teams. McGonagill scored 26 points to complete his storied Brown career with several Brown records. He is Brown’s all-time leader in career treys (247), career starts (113), single season treys (91).

The basketball program is also honored to take part in Brown University's 250th Anniversary Celebration which officially kicks off this weekend. Seniors Sean McGonagill and Josh Biber will take part in Senior Day ceremonies prior to Saturday evening's game, and the top five scorers in Brown Basketball history - Earl Hunt '03, Arnie Berman '72, Jason Forte '05, Sean McGonagill '14 and Peter Sullivan '11 - will be honored at halftime of Saturday's game as part of the 250th Anniversary Celebration.
