Bears' Game with Sacred Heart Moved to Long Island

March 22, 2007

Providence, RI - Tonight's baseball game between Brown (1-6) and Sacred Heart (4-8) has been moved to Baseball Heaven in Yaphank, N.Y., and is now a doubleheader. The original game was scheduled to be played at Harbor Yards in Bridgeport, Conn., but this past weekend's snowstorm made that field and the fields at both schools unplayable. The first game will start 40 minutes after both teams arrive, which will likely be around 4:30 p.m.

Freshman LHP Matt Boylan (Danvers, MA) and senior tri-captain RHP Ethan Silverstein (Woodbridge, CT) are tonight's scheduled starters for Brown.
