Bears Fall to Coastal Carolina

The baseball team dropped a 14-8 decision to Coastal Carolina. The Bears fall to 2-11-1 on the season and will face North Carolina State A&T tomorrow Thursday, March 27th before heading to High Point for four games.

James Cramphin pitched in four innings giving up nine earned runs and recording five walks and one strike-out. Harris Frankel came in to relieve Cramphin, he pitched in two innings, and recorded two strike-outs.

Jeff Nichols led the way for the Bears offensively, hitting 3-5 with a double and an RBI, scoring two runs in the game. John Magalettiwent 2-3 with an RBI and one scored. Matt Kutler and Eric Larson both hit 2-5. Kutler scored a run and Larson had two runs. Cameron Mitchell and Chris Contrino both hit 1-4 with a double and two RBI a piece. Danny Hughes was 1-3 with an RBI.
