2009: Emerged as the ace of Brown’s rotation, leading the team in starts, wins, complete games, innings pitched, and strikeouts, and finishing second in ERA and opposing batting average … Compiled a 6-2 record in his nine starts, including four complete games … Threw a team-high 61.1 innings, while allowing just 31 earned runs for a 4.55 ERA … Led the team with 50 strikeouts, while walking just 13 batters … Held opposing offenses to a superb .249 average … Gave up just three home runs on the season.
2008: Fourth on the team with 14 total appearances, including four starts, going 3-3 on the season … Threw a complete game shutout against Yale (4/27), giving up seven hits while striking out two … Had an overall ERA of 5.77, giving up 25 earned runs in 39 innings … Had better than a two – to – one strikeout to walk ratio, with 24 and 11 respectively.
