Sredojevic Tabbed Ivy League Baseball Rookie of the Week

PRINCETON, N.J. – Freshman infielder Marc Sredojevic (Mendham, N.J.) of the Brown University baseball team was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week, announced by the league office Tuesday afternoon. 

Sredojevic led Brown to a 2-1 week, as the Bears twice defeated UMass-Lowell. He batted .417 in the three games (5-for-12), including a double and a home run for a slugging percentage of .750. He recorded at least one hit and one run in each of the three games, finishing the week with three runs and five RBI.

In the two wins, Sredojevic batted 4-for-8 with two runs, a double, a home run and five RBI. He is the second Bear to earn Rookie of the Week in 2014, joining Christian Taugner (March 11).
