Baseball Announces Class of 2017

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Brown head baseball coach Marek Drabinski is pleased to announce the addition of seven new student-athletes, set to join the roster for the 2014 season. Brown's Class of 2017 includes four pitchers, one infielder, one outfielder and a catcher.

"I'm extremely excited about this group of players," said Drabinski. "This is a very talented group and a majority of these players should be able to make an immediate impact to the team this spring."

Before Brown: A two-sport athlete at Regis High School, earning three letters as a pitcher/third baseman/outfielder in baseball and two letters as a guard in basketball … team captain as a senior … named First-Team All-League and First-Team All-City … selected to New York City Mayor's Cup All-Star Game.

Why Brown: "I chose Brown for its unique academic opportunities, as it allows for flexibility while still excelling in all departments. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere created by the student body."
