2012: Made 25 appearances and 17 starts during his sophomore season…In 71 at-bats, he tallied 20 hits, four doubles, eight runs and 13 RBIs…In Ivy League play, he achieved a .340 batting average and a .426 slugging percentage.

2011: Appeared in 25 games and made 12 starts…Tallied three runs, five hits, one double and one RBI.

Before Brown: A two-time letter winner as an outfielder for Grimsley High School…Was an All-Conference and All-Area selection…For his club team, Post 45, he boasted a .411 batting average, tallying six homeruns and 19 doubles in 28 games…Also helped his team to the NC Legion State Tournament.  

Personal: Daniel B. Massey is the son of David and Wendy Massey of Greensboro, North Carolina…He has two brothers, Jacob and Zachary…His great-grandfather graduated from Brown in 1926…He was an AP Scholar with Honor at Grimsley High School…Concentrating in Economics.
