2010: Started 40 games as the everyday shortstop, finishing fourth on the team with 160 at bats … Batted primarily in the leadoff spot, hitting .281 … Added nine doubles, four home runs, and a triple, good for a .425 slugging percentage … Also picked up 23 RBI’s and scored 27 runs … Went 2-2 on stolen base attempts … Led the team with 102 assists while recording a .932 fielding percentage. 

2009: Immediately became a regular at shortstop, playing in and starting 43 games … Led all freshmen in every offensive category, and was named Brown’s Outstanding Freshman Male Athlete of the Year … Recorded a .290 batting average, including four doubles and five home runs, the latter good for fifth on the team … Also scored 20 runs, and finished fifth on the squad with 31 RBI’s … Notched 57 total bases and a .435 slugging percentage, while drawing seven walks to push his on base percentage to .373 … Picked up four stolen bases in six attempts … Recorded a .931 fielding percentage at shortstop, where he made a number of run-saving plays over the course of the season.

Before Brown: Graduate of the Moses Brown School in Providence, R.I. … Four-year letterwinner at second base and shortstop … Was a Division I All-Star and 1st Team All-State as a junior, when he recorded a .479 batting average … Also won the Division III Championship during his freshman season.
