2011: Galan made 12 appearances in his rookie season, good for second on the team ... made four starts, going 1-2 on the year ... pitching 34.0 innings, fourth-most on the squad ... struck out 21, while walking just 11, allowing 30 earned runs for a 7.94 ERA.

Before Brown: Galan began to accrue accomplishment in 2009 at the Hun School, being named bot the Defensive Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, while earning all-county honors ... in 2010 he was named the Team MVP and earned All-State prep team honors.
