Providence, RI - Brown University junior Pete Greskoff (Paoli, PA) recently capped off a terrific season by earning CoSIDA/ESPN The Magazine Second Team Academic All-District Honors, recognizing his impressive work both on and off the field.
Greskoff, an Engineering concentrator, appeared in left field and both corner infield spots for the Bears this season, and was a potent bat in the middle of the lineup. Hitting cleanup for Brown, Greskoff set a new program record for home runs in a single season, belting 17 to lead the Ivy League. He also led the league in RBI's, and finished third in runs scored and fourth in total bases. Greskoff's 17 homers also gave him 32 for his career, tying the Brown record for career home runs in just three seasons.
