Brown Gymnastics Ranks Eighth on NACGC/W All-Academic Team

Providence, RI - The Brown gymnastics team has finished 8th overall in this year's National Association of Collegiate Gymnastics Coaches/Women (NACGC/W) All-Academic Team standings.

Throughout the past academic year, the Brown gymnasts combined for a 3.574 team grade-point average (GPA) to move them up a spot in last year's rankings and capture 8th this year in the national standings.

In the same announcement made by the NACGC/W, seven different Brown gymnasts received All-Academic status. Heading the list for the Bears was junior Rachel Foodman who finished her sophomore year with a 4.0 GPA and was also named the ECAC Scholar Athlete of the Year. Other gymnasts receiving All-American status were teammates Whitney Diederich (Naperville, IL), senior Sarah Durning (Roswell, GA), junior Rachel Foodman (San Diego, CA), senior Hannah Goldstein (New York, NY), sophomore Izzy Kirkham-Lewitt (Venice, CA), sophomore Alanna Kwoka (San Mateo, CA), and senior Jessica Pestronk (Grand Blanc, MI).
