Gymnastics Finishes Fourth in Rutgers Quad-Meet

NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ - The women's gymnastics team scored a 191.500, finishing in fourth place behind Michigan State (195.450), Rutgers (193.700), and Yale (191.900) on Saturday afternoon.
Junior Jayne Finst led the way, winning the beam with a 9.875 and taking second in the all-around with 39.175, tying her school record score, which she set earlier this season. She also placed third on the vault with a 9.775 and fourth on the floor with a 9.850 to help lead the Bears.
Junior Gina Verge also had a solid day for Brown, taking sixth on the bars with a 9.750 and fourth in the all-around with a 38.825.
The Bears continue action next Saturday, March 15, at Bridgeport.
