 Competed exhibition routines on the uneven bars in Brown’s final two meets of the season, as she returned from an injury…Earned NACGC/W Scholastic All-America honors...Was an ECAC All-Academic team selection…Earned the team’s Bruno Award for the second consecutive season.

 Earned the team’s Bruno Award, which is given to the team member who displays the best sportsmanship, team spirit and positive motivation for the team throughout the season…Competed mostly on the beam for the Bears, putting up a career-high 9.750 in a meet against New Hampshire and Central Michigan to help lead the team to a season-high score of 193.675…Earned ECAC All-Academic team honors and received ECAC Rookie of the Week honors.

Before Brown:
 A four-year Level 10 gymnast…Placed fifth on beam at Level 10 States and was a Level 10 Regional qualifier…A USAIGC National all-around and beam champion, she competed for Northern Elite Gymnastics…A High Honor Roll student throughout high school, and a member of both the National Honor Society and Spanish National Honor Society…Worked as a peer leader, peer tutor and State Assembly Representative for the Villa Walsh Academy chapter of the Junior State of America.

Madeline Benz is the daughter of Katherine and Paul Benz of Chester, New Jersey…She has an older brother, Alex, and five younger siblings, Eric, Michael, Monica, Julia and Gabriel… Alex swam at Yale and graduated in 2012…Enjoys poetry and photography…She is concentrating in Science and Society.
