As a Junior in 2012: Competed mostly on the bars this season and was a competitor on the floor exercise three times … Earned a season-high score of 9.750 on the bars and a 9.3 on the floor in a meet against New Hampshire, Bridgeport and Maryland on March 3 … Qualified for the USAG Collegiate Nationals on the bars where she finished 21st with a 9.475 … Had a 4.0 GPA to earn NACGC/W Scholastic All-America honors and was an ECAC All-Academic Team selection.
As a Sophomore in 2011: Earned the team’s Most Improved Award after missing all of last year due to a season-ending injury sustained before arriving at Brown … She came back strong to competed on three events for the Bears; the bars, beam and floor and qualified to compete on bars at the USAG Collegiate Nationals… Posted a career-high 9.8 on the bars against UNH and Central Michigan to help the Bears to a season-high score of 193.675, and also posted career-highs of a 9.5 on the beam and a 9.650 on the floor … Was key in helping the Bears break the school record on bars twice this season … Selected to the ECAC All-Academic Team and was a NACGC/W Academic All-American.
As a Freshman in 2010: Received the team’s “Bruno” award, which is given to the team member who displays the best sportsmanship, team spirit and positive motivation for the team throughout the season … Suffered a season-ending injury prior to enrolling at Brown, yet remained completely dedicated and consistently encouraged her team.
Before Brown: A three-year Level 10 competitor ... Eight-time Regional Qualifier and was a first alternate at the 2008 Level 10 Nationals ... Placed second on the uneven bars at Regionals and was a team captain .... Was an AP Scholar with distinction, AXA Achievement Scholarship recipient, Headmaster’s list, Cum Laude Society, and received the Silver Service Award (for 600 hours of community service).
