Equestrian Claims Second at URI Show

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. – Brown University equestrian finished in second place in its second show of the fall at the University of Rhode Island Show at Faith Hill Farm on Saturday.

Junior Sophia Cohen (Greenwich, Conn.) finished second in both the Open Flat and Open Fences events while freshman Annaliese Fries came in second in both the Intermediate Flat and Intermediate Fences.

Senior Hannah Estlund (Providence, R.I.) took first place in the Novice Flat.

In Walk-Trot-Canter, sophomore Roshan Moazed earned a second-place finish, and in Walk-Trot, senior Caryn Cobb garnered second.

In the team standings, the University of Rhode Island finished first at the event while UMass Dartmouth came in third.

Next, Brown competes at the UMass Dartmouth Show on Oct. 25.
