Molloy, Natrasevschi Earn Brown Student-Athlete of the Week Honors

PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Men’s lacrosse senior attackman Dylan Molloy and women’s track & field junior thrower Josie Natrasevschi have earned Brown University Athletics Student-Athlete of the Week honors for the week of May 1-7, Brown announced on Monday. 

Dylan Molloy, Men’s Lacrosse, Senior, Setuaket, N.Y.
Senior attackman Dylan Molloy set Brown’s all-time career scoring record with 318 career points after posting six goals and two assists last week. A native of Setauket, N.Y., Molloy helped lead the Bears to the Ivy League Tournament title game with four goals and two assists against Princeton in the semifinals and two goals vs. Yale in the finals. His 318 career points rank first at Brown and sixth all-time in NCAA history. On Brown’s all-time list, he passed Darren Lowe ’92 who totaled 316 points from 1989-92.

Josie Natrasevschi, Women’s Track & Field, Junior, Fort Collins, Colo.
Junior thrower Josie Natrasevschi won the discus title to lead Brown at the 2017 Ivy League Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Yale’s Cuyler Field & Dwyer Track this past weekend. A native of Fort Collins, Colo., Natrasevschi claimed her first Ivy discus title with a winning throw of 176-8 on the second attempt, besting Harvard's Nikki Okwelogu, the two-time defending champion at 172-5. Brown has captured the women's discus title in five out of the last eight championship meets.
