Senior Aubree Moore (Bowie, Md.) cracked the 50-save mark for the second time in as many games by stopping 53 shots to power the Brown women's hockey team to a 1-1 tie against No. 5/5 Clarkson in the Bears' ECAC Hockey opener at Cheel Arena on Friday evening. Moore's performance helped Brown snap a five-game losing streak against the Golden Knights and tie a nationally-ranked team for the first time since 2010, all while finishing one save shy of matching her career-high performance of 54 from last Saturday's 2-1 overtime win at RIT.
Moore made another 28 saves in Saturday's setback at St. Lawrence to give her 81 stops for the weekend and 167 for the season. The senior co-captain boasts a .949 save percentage, which currently ranks fourth in the ECAC and seventh in the nation.
