Janice Yang, Women's Ice Hockey

Junior women's ice hockey forward Janice Yang (Westport, Conn.) registered her first multiple-goal game of the season with a pair of markers to propel Brown to a 3-3 tie at Dartmouth on Saturday.

Yang tied the game at 1-1 in the second period on a point-blank deflection from the right side, then knotted the score at 3-3 in the third to take the team lead for goals and set a single-season career high with her sixth goal of the year. Yang raced down the left wing and went head-to-head with her defender, who slid headfirst to break up the play. She then hurdled the attempted defensive maneuver and landed face down on the ice, hanging on just long enough to poke in the equalizer at 10:23 and snap Brown's three-game losing skid.
