Senior forward Jeff Ryan (Media, PA), a
Business, Entrepreneurship & Organizations
concentrator, stretched his point scoring streak to
four games with a pair of points in Brown's split at Colgate and
#18 Cornell this past weekend. After earning an assist on the
Bears' goal against the Raiders on Friday, Ryan helped lift the
squad to a 3-0 shutout against the Big Red when he snapped a 0-0
tie with 46 seconds left in the second period.
His goal would prove to be the game-winner, the first of his career, as Brown posted its second shutout of the season and first over Cornell since 1991.
Ryan has posted five (3g, 2a) of his six points during the Bears' last four games.
The team will return to action this weekend with two games at Meehan Auditorium, taking on the Quinnipiac Bobcats on Friday, February 2 at 7:00pm and the Princeton Tigers on Saturday, February 3 at 4:00pm.
