Providence, RI – Brown University announced today that its new digital channel, BrownBears.TV, is now officially live on The Ivy League® Digital Network at

Brown will launch BrownBears.TV with live men’s soccer and field hockey events on September 6, water polo on September 7, and women’s soccer and water polo on September 8.  League-wide, the network will carry 24 live events over the opening Sept. 6-8 weekend. Football will make its BrownBears.TV debut on September 21 with its season opening home game against Georgetown.

Powered by NeuLion, the Brown Channel is a part of the Ivy League’s completely redesigned, nine-channel digital network that includes an easy-to-navigate interface, a League-wide network schedule and new interactive features, such as simultaneous four-game viewing, full DVR controls and social media integration. These new features enhance the viewing experience for the expanded range of events and other content offerings, all of which are available on computer, mobile and tablet devices all without the use of an app.

Packages for BrownBears.TV are $89.95 for 12 months, $39.95 for four months, $10.95 for one month and $9.95 for a single day and include multi-camera HD coverage of all available home and select away games in football, and men’s and women’s basketball.  Brown men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s ice hockey, and men’s and women’s lacrosse will be broadcast in HD with one camera and graphics, with selected events for each being broadcast with three-cameras. Brown will also broadcast field hockey, volleyball, water polo, wrestling and gymnastics events with one camera.

In addition to coverage of Ivy League championship events, live coverage of other winter and spring sports will be announced at a later date. Many of these events, along with additional premium content not available anywhere else, will be available for on-demand viewing at any time.

Packages for the League-wide channel, which features everything the network has to offer, are $119.95 for 12 months, $49.95 for four months and $15.95 for one month.
