Providence, R.I. – Brown University, in partnership with NeuLion, announced today the launch of its brand new channel on the first-ever Ivy League Digital Network. The Ivy League Digital Network will provide live and on-demand video content involving all eight conference schools, as well as league championship events.
Starting with the 2013-14 season, the Brown channel on the Ivy League Digital Network will offer a user experience unlike any other to give fans an entirely new way to interact with the Bears. The completely redesigned digital channel includes an easy-to-navigate interface with a League-wide network streaming schedule and new interactive touch points to showcase the expanded content offerings available on computer, mobile and tablet devices all without the use of an app.
Initially, all eight Ivy League schools will feature three-camera HD broadcasts for football and men’s and women’s basketball. Additionally, Brown will continue to offer live streaming for home events across multiple sports at a level equal to or better than what has been presented in the past.
“Brown Athletics will be at the forefront of video technology as we launch the Ivy League Digital Network,” said Jack Hayes, Brown’s Director of Athletics. “We will be introducing a high definition, multi-camera video streaming broadcast, as well as highlight packages and original video features, all offered on multiple digital platforms. This will allow Brown fans and alumni throughout the world to follow their favorite teams and student-athletes from one state-of-the-art viewing destination.”
For a limited time at www.ivyleaguedigitalnetwork.com fans can purchase a discounted yearly package to the Brown channel at a special introductory price of $71.95. The package includes everything the channel has to offer from live home and league away games in HD as well as on-demand programming and other premium content.
