The 10th annual Brown Women's Athletics Golf Invitational will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2003 at the Agawam Hunt Club. At the completion of the round of golf a special auction will be held that features a one-hour putting lesson with PGA Tour Professional Brad Faxon, who is recognized as the number one putter in the world. Monies raised go directly into the women's athletics programs at Brown.
This year's outing will feature a new tradition with Brown Athletics honoring women's athletes who competed at Brown in the decade of the 1970's. There will be special recognition of Brown's great women's teams and individuals of the 1970's during the post-round reception.
Individuals can sign up for $200 per person, or you can register a foursome at $800. Hole sponsorships are also available for $250 per tee sign. Special Tournament Sponsorship packages are available at $2,500 that includes a foursome, tournament sign, tournament gift and special program recognition.
In addition to a gala raffle, golf fans will have the opportunity to bid on the golf lesson of a lifetime, a putting lesson with PGA Tour Professional Brad Faxon, who is consistently rated the top putter in the world. The auction will take place at the post-round reception.
