|Position:||Project Assistant Manager|
Sarah Sceery joined the Sports Foundation team in October of
2011 as the Project Assistant. In this role, Sarah works closely
with the Associate Director, Assistant Director, and Communication
Manger to provide support in fundraising, events, and
communications. She will also be responsible for working with the
Athletic Department, Brown University Staff, and Sports Foundation
Prior to coming to Brown, Sarah attended the University of New Hampshire where she earned a B.S in Business Administration and minors in Sports Studies and Nutrition in 2011. During her time at UNH she worked on various athletic related activities including a thesis report on coaching and an article on the history of branding in sports. As an intern for the Providence Bruins, she worked with fans, customers, and office staff on game day preparations and promotional events. Throughout college, Sarah also worked as a Head Lifeguard and Assistant Manager where her roles included staff management, supervision of aquatic programs, facilitation and planning of seasonal events, and member assistance.
Following a study abroad program in Budapest, Hungary, Sarah was offered a position to help assist and coordinate the 2011 students. She recently returned from Budapest to her home town of Warwick, RI.
