Craig Schroeder joined the Sports Foundation as the Communications and Marketing Manager in the summer of 2010. He is responsible for the production of the Brown Bear Magazine – a quarterly publication sent to alumni, donors and parents to keep them up-to-date with the happenings within the Brown athletic department. Schroeder is in charge of all other printed materials for the Sports Foundation while also designing the marketing and promotional materials, managing the Foundation’s website, and handling social networking communications.

Prior to coming to Brown, Schroeder was an athletic communications assistant at Stony Brook University on Long Island, N.Y. He served as the main media contact for women’s basketball, softball and volleyball while assisting with numerous other sports. He also served as the video coordinator for the department. In 2009-10 he assisted in hosting a men’s basketball NIT game and the NCAA Quarterfinals in men’s lacrosse.

Schroeder spent nearly two years working at ESPN for the Mobile department. He served as a content editor and producer, creating video and print content for ESPN’s digital and mobile platforms.

Craig earned an undergraduate degree in journalism from Ithaca College.

A native of Winsted, Connecticut, he currently resides on the East Side.
