Matt Lee joined the Brown University
Sports Foundation in March, 2013. In his position as the
Communications and Marketing Coordinator, Matt serves as the
managing editor of the Brown Bear Magazine. He also oversees the
BUSF website and all communication strategies in collaboration with
the rest of the BUSF staff.
Prior to joining the Sports Foundation, Matt spent three years working as an athletic communications assistant in the University of Connecticut Athletic Communications office. At UConn, Matt worked primarily with the men’s soccer, men’s hockey, men’s and women’s tennis and women’s lacrosse teams. He also served as the secondary contact for the men’s basketball program.
Matt spent two years as a graduate assistant in the Providence College Marketing and Communications department, serving as the primary media relations contact for the women's hockey team and the men’s and women’s track and field/cross country programs. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in business administration from Providence in May of 2010.
A native of Lincoln, R.I., Matt played soccer at Springfield College in Springfield, Mass., while serving as captain in 2006, before graduating with a bachelor's degree in sport management with a minor in business.
He currently resides in Providence, R.I.
