Position: Assistant Coach

Kate Flanagan joined the Brown water polo coaching staff in the summer of 2013 and begins her first tenure as a collegiate assistant coach.

Flanagan was a four-year member of the UCLA women's water polo team and helped guide the Bruins to National Championships in 2003 and 2005. A three-time Academic All-American, she also played for the national youth team that went to the 2001 North American Youth Tournament and 2002 Australian Youth Tournament.

Flanagan graduated from the Punahou School in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 2002, where she lettered in water polo. She received the Leslie Kerfoot award in 2001 and 2003 for recognition as the Most Valuable Hawaiian Female Athlete in the Hawaiian Invitational Water Polo Tournament.
